Our production in India started with the Hunter Collection in 2011 and we still cannot get enough of this impressive design. The foundation is a historical Mughal pattern which we renewed with our innovative technique of oxidization. The final washing process creates and plays with the theme of patina. It simulates aging with time already in the production process and adds time as a quote to a modern interior. In the background, we have a rich but always shifting play of different mixtures of colors, a technique which we used before in our ECO collection.
There is a particular spontaneous and fresh modern appeal in the final result embraced from a settled elegant and classic chick historical rug pattern with its perfection in detail. The Hunter designs are produced in Jaipur, Rajasthan in 11/11 knot hand-knotted Persian rug quality. All designs of our contemporary rug art collection are customizable on request.
